Djordje Petrovic has been nominated as the Premier League’s Savior of the Month for December.

The 24-year-old was named as one of six contenders for the best save after hitting a superb strike against Luton Town at Kenilworth Road in December. Vote for Petrovic, Premier League “Save the Moon” winner.

Petrovic helped the Blues to three points and should have been his keeper to deny Carlton Morris from close range. The Luton forward was released from his marker before heading home and Petrovic instinctively hit the crossbar as Chelsea won 3-2, denying the Hatters a chance to get back into the game. December was an impressive month for the Serbs. He made his Chelsea debut as a substitute against Everton and kept his first clean sheet in the following game against Sheffield United.

He made a crucial save in the Carabao Cup quarter-final shoot-out against Newcastle, securing Chelsea’s progress to the last four. Candidates for Premier League save of the month include Wes Foderingham (Sheff United), Alisson Becker (Liverpool), Dean Henderson (Crystal Palace), Jordan Pickford (Everton) and Guglielmo Vicario (Tottenham).

The winner will be determined by public vote. You can vote for Petrovic here until Monday, January 8 at 12:00 p.m. The winners will be announced on Friday, January 12, at 2 p.m.

It was the most memorable moment of my career.” Brought up in China’s southern Guangdong province, neighbouring Hong Kong, an 18-year-old Feng became the first Chinese player to earn an LPGA tour card in 2007. The easy-going Feng went on to be the first Chinese player, man or woman, to win a major and lifted 10 LPGA titles during her 14 active years on the tour. In 2017, Feng became the only Chinese golfer to date to reach the world No 1 ranking. During a supremely consistent career, Feng registered 18 top-10 finishes in majors, two of them in 2021 even as she was winding down her playing commitments.
