Former Wimbledon quarter-finalist Camila Giorgi has made a sudden change on her Instagram page, posting a series of candid photos that have made her wonder if she is still focused on her tennis career.

George, who will compete at the Australian Open next month, posted three photos taken during a photo shoot wearing red lingerie over the holidays. The 29-year-old then showed two photos of herself in a white corset and stockings.

Her hilarious behavior on social media has piqued the interest of her 308,000 followers and now they are wondering if she plans to stay in the tennis world much longer. Italian journalist Stefano Cageli believes his mind may be off the sport, but insists that’s not a bad thing.

 

“We avoid the use of outdated and anachronistic moralism, and everyone is free to live their lives (and therefore their social aspect) according to what they believe,” Cagelli wrote on the Tennis Fever website. “If we were Camila Giorgi, we might wonder if her goal is still to improve her tennis or if she has something else in mind. Of course, it’s no problem, but…”

George, who advanced to the quarter-finals at Wimbledon in 2018, advanced to the third round of the Australian Open for the first time in two years.

The easy-going Feng went on to be the first Chinese player, man or woman, to win a major and lifted 10 LPGA titles during her 14 active years on the tour.  In 2017, Feng became the only Chinese golfer to date to reach the world No 1 ranking.  During a supremely consistent career, Feng registered 18 top-10 finishes in majors, two of them in 2021 even as she was winding down her playing commitments.
