People are already declaring new Super Bowl ad to be the best this year calling it an ‘instant classic’

When it comes to the Super Bowl, we always expect big things and this year’s ads have already delivered.

In fact, people have been calling the latest commercial the best they’ve seen in ages.

Although a little bizarre, viewers have found the whole thing hilarious, with many loving some old school appearances from the likes of Hey Arnold! and Knuckles from Sonic the Hedgehog.

Well, it seems CBS has pulled out all the stops to promote its streaming service Paramount+ after gathering some pretty big names for the Super Bowl ad.

In the commercial, famous faces including Sir Patrick Stewart, Arnold from Hey Arnold!, Master Chief, Knuckles, Drew Barrymore and Jeff Probst are all doing their best to climb the Paramount mountain.

Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa tries to launch a hook across the mountain to hoist them all to safety, but he struggles.

Stewart suggests they tie the rope to Arnold’s football-shaped head, but not everyone’s happy about it, including Barrymore who points out how concerning it is to consider launching a child up a snowy mountain.

Stewart takes off his jacket, revealing an old-school football kit and tells Barrymore to ‘shut [her] face’ before launching Arnold into the sky.

Creed then starts playing ‘Can You Take Me Higher’ and while Arnold almost makes it, he ends up smashing into the cliff face.

Meanwhile others were adamant that they wanted the sketch turned into an actual film, as one pointed out: “If I told young me who is a big fan of Hey Arnold, that Patrick Stewart would in the future throw Arnold like a damn football while accompanied by characters like Knuckles and Master Chief, he would think I was insane.”

The ‘Cruel Summer’ hitmaker has been dating Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce since last year and, in the wake of their blossoming romance, has been spotted at several of his football games.

Swift was even there last night (January 28) to celebrate with her beau when his team secured their spot in this year’s Super Bowl.

And while Swift has frequently been present at Kelce’s games, there’s a good chance she won’t be able to make it for the Super Bowl – something which may come as good news to football fans who have accused the singer of ‘ruining the NFL’.

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ll know that in recent months Swift has been embarking on her huge Eras Tour, which has officially broken the Guinness World Record for the highest grossing tour to date.

Her next tour dates are scheduled to take place in Tokyo, Japan – with the first night being February 7.

Swift will perform at the Tokyo Dome for four nights in total – meaning she’ll still be over 5,500 miles away from Las Vegas (where the Super Bowl is set to take place) in the run up to one of the world’s largest sporting events.

This has left doubts in a lot of people’s minds about if the 34-year-old will be able to make it back in time for her boyfriend’s football game – but not all hope is lost.
