NBC criticizes US Open as “embarrassing” amid serious technical issues

The third round of the 2024 US Open brings a big change to Pinehurst’s jersey number. Ranked No. 2. LIV Golf star Bryson DeChambeau (-7 career) was 3 under par through 12 holes on Saturday, putting him two strokes ahead of four-time winner Rory McIlroy (-5) and former leader Ludwig Oberg (-5).

Unfortunately for anyone who tuned into NBC’s third-round broadcast on Saturday, the technical issues that affected nearly the entirety of the broadcast proved to be a common occurrence for fans as the third round approached. “NBC has promised us they will put all their resources into their biggest event, it’s their biggest event, they got voted out by the top team and now there are no charts or rankings. Amazing,” NLU wrote.

Golf fans complained on social media about NBC’s “embarrassment” during the third round of the U.S. Open. “NBC is broadcasting an impeccable roast beef report, the championship is in November, and God forbid they make it in the main event. Please help CBS, you are our only hope. #classicNBC #embarrassing,” said one user. “How about today’s terrible TV?” A camera function that cannot control the opening. The director cannot find a shot. Please join the NBC together! Certainly it is not the quality of CBS, “said the building. “Apparently NBC hired the ABC/ESPN NBA Finals halftime crew to produce their US Open coverage! @terribleannouncement,” another fan wrote.

It was the most memorable moment of my career.” Brought up in China’s southern Guangdong province, neighbouring Hong Kong, an 18-year-old Feng became the first Chinese player to earn an LPGA tour card in 2007. The easy-going Feng went on to be the first Chinese player, man or woman, to win a major and lifted 10 LPGA titles during her 14 active years on the tour. In 2017, Feng became the only Chinese golfer to date to reach the world No 1 ranking. During a supremely consistent career, Feng registered 18 top-10 finishes in majors, two of them in 2021 even as she was winding down her playing commitments.
