Simone Biles is the most decorated American Olympic gymnast with 11 medals. Now she’s decked out in Hermès.
A contender for the Paris 2024 Olympiad and described as “the greatest athlete of all time,” her performance at this Summer Olympics saw her surpass Shannon Miller as the most decorated U.S. Olympic gymnast. Biles won gold in the women’s team all-around final, gold in the women’s individual all-around final, gold in the vault final, and silver in the floor exercise final, adding four medals to her seven medal tally.
After the final competition of the women’s Olympic gymnastics competition on August 5, Biles spent time in the City of Lights with her family, teammates, and Snoop Dogg. The 27-year-old has also been spotted at stores like Hermès.
On August 9, Biles posted a preview of her shopping spree in Paris at Hermès. In her Instagram Story, her eyes can be seen glued to a wall of the famous fashion house’s iconic Birkin bags, before she posted a photo of the handbag along with a preview of her purchase, which came in a large orange box. A Birkin bag can cost anywhere from $17,000 to six figures depending on the model, size, and style. The reigning world champion may have given herself a priceless gift, but her father Ronald Biles also received an amazing present from his favorite rapper, Snoop Dogg. As Ronald celebrated his 75th birthday in Paris with his wife Nelly and their two daughters, Simone and Adria, the athlete’s sister revealed what the “Young, Wild and Free” rapper got Ronald as a birthday present. “Snoop gave him a chain. Now he doesn’t know how to act,” Adria’s caption read alongside a photo of Ronald holding a diamond-encrusted Death Row Records necklace. “75, it suits you so well. Ronald isn’t the only member of the Biles family looking glamorous during the 2024 Paris Olympics. After winning the women’s individual all-around final on August 1, the famous gymnast was spotted wearing a diamond pendant in the shape of a goat. “My GOAT necklace is just an ode to me because people love it and some people hate it,” she explained at a press conference after the awards ceremony. “So it’s the best of both worlds. I thought, ‘Okay, if it works, I’ll wear a GOAT necklace.’ I know people are going to be crazy about him,” she continued. “But at the end of the day, it’s weird that I’m in this conversation about the greatest athlete of all time, because I still think, ‘I’m Simone Biles from Spring, Texas, and I love to go crazy.'”
