Charlie Woods’ disappointing Masters news: Father Tiger Woods may not invite him to ANGC

What makes the Masters special? The list goes on, but one of the most important reasons is the rich heritage and great traditions that permeate this event. If you’re a family of golf enthusiasts, you can enjoy a round of golf at Augusta National.

However, this year, it looks like Tiger Woods may attend the celebration without his family in attendance. Mr. T has often assumed the role of caddy for his son, but will Charlie Woods be able to do the same for the old man this Wednesday?

Will we see Charlie Woods alongside Tiger Woods on the greens at Augusta? Another small tradition continues during Sunday practice, where all past champions have the privilege of inviting one of their guests onto the course to play golf with them. Excerpts from the course were also published on the Masters X official account @TheMasters. However, Mr. T, the bear cub, was not on the guest list.

Woods was accompanied by caddy Lance Bennett and Rob McNamara, vice president of business at TGR Ventures, who were seen unofficially taking a fresh look at Woods’ golf game. Published by TWlegion on their official X account (formerly Twitter).

“According to @BobHarig, Tiger circled Augusta this afternoon with only a wedge and putter, along with caddy Lance Bennett and his confidant Rob McNamara,” wrote one. Charlie Woods’ absence has led to further speculation that he will miss the entire Masters Championship, resulting in him missing the most anticipated par-3 event before the big day.

This tradition was first performed in his 1960 tournament. It is played in one round on a nine-hole, par-27 course in the northeast corner of Augusta National. Former champions will have the opportunity to invite family members to manage their bags and score goals on their behalf.

However, his two children, Sam and Charlie, may not be around Woods this year. The Woods boys have competed in par-3 events before. On April 8, 2015, while his children were caddying on the greens at Augusta, Woods was fulfilling his duties as a golfer and father.

Tiger Woods said he enjoyed par 3 competition in 2015.

The 15-time major winner was playing in his first par-3 event since becoming a father. His daughters, Sam Woods, 7, and Charlie Woods, 6, followed him onto the green with their clubs in hand. Woods even said, “These were memories that will last a lifetime.”

As he walked toward the ninth hole, he handed Charlie his club and motioned for him to finish his round. Charlie refused to take over the club, but Sam happily volunteered. They were both wearing caddy uniforms, Charlie had three clubs and Sam had a putter. Woods was a truly happy man on the course that day, doing two things he loves: playing golf and being a father.
