Report ๐Ÿฅบ: Tiger Woods publicly reveals ‘deep secret of defeat’ after heroic effort at Masters fails.

Tiger Woods struggled Saturday at Augusta National with his worst performance in major tournament history, just 24 hours after breaking the record for most consecutive Masters cuts.

Tiger Woods posted a major-low score of 82 in the third round of the Masters, but the American superstar vowed to return for Sunday’s final round.

The 15-time major champion set a new record with 24 consecutive Masters losses with 73 wins and 72 losses in the opening round. However, he was only playing in his second tournament of the year, and yesterday his lack of playing time and fitness caught up with him at World 959.

He double-faulted in games seven and eight, scoring a 42 (lowest score in front nine history). And Woods, 48, looked sick when he missed the last four holes and shot 10 over par.

Asked if he was physically tired from playing his 36 holes, the five-time winner replied: My biggest problem? The fact that I didn’t hit very well and I didn’t hit very well. I didn’t get much time to warm up and ran all day today. Just hit the ball in all the places you know not to hit it. And there were a lot of missed shots. An easily achievable strike. I missed a lot.

โ€œI wouldnโ€™t say itโ€™s necessarily a lack of mental rehearsal. I just haven’t played it much, or I just don’t play it that much. When I had a chance to make a turnover and made a putt on the 5th hole, I immediately made a triple putt on the 6th hole and hit a chip on the 7th hole, but I misunderstood that I had hit it and had a chance to return. But I didn’t hit the tip. . . no.

Woods withdrew from last year’s Masters after seven holes in the third round due to plantar fasciitis. However, he insisted he was ready to return and watch the game on Sunday.

However, he admitted he has a tough Saturday night ahead of him to prepare his body as he is currently under a huge strain. he said: โ€œThe team will prepare us, the club has been great. It’s going to be a long night and a long warm-up, but we’re going to be ready.

Woods shot an 81 in the third round of the 2002 U.S. Open at Muirfield and an 80 in the first round of the 2015 U.S. Open at Chambers Bay. He shot an 82 at the 2015 Phoenix Open, but only shot an 85 at the 2015 Memorial Tournament, making this the second-worst round of his career.

In 2017, Feng became the only Chinese golfer to date to reach the world No 1 ranking. During a supremely consistent career, Feng registered 18 top-10 finishes in majors, two of them in 2021 even as she was winding down her playing commitments.
