Greg Norman believes the professional golf world is “crying” for the creation of LIV, praising the former world number one’s efforts to promote the sport around the world.
Norman has long been proud of the LIV circuit’s global expansion, with the Saudi-backed series set to host 14 events in eight countries by 2024. Norman and his colleagues also envisioned an alternative format to the PGA Tour event that would put individuality first, a 54-hole event and a team format.
