Verstappen addresses widespread F1 rumour over Perez rivalry

Max Verstappen has more style than Sergio Perez and admits it is up to the driver to “adapt to the demands of the car”.
One of the random rumors spread by F1 fans is that – since he dominates the team – Verstappen and Perez are unlikely to drive the same car. It’s understandable why questions are being asked, as the Dutchman has won 17 more races than Perez. He may have had a tough time this season, but there’s no denying that he’s a class act in the driver’s seat.

But as much praise as Perez has received (even if not this season), Verstappen is the RB19 of 2023. According to the three-time world champion, it all comes down to changing your attitude to get the most out of your car.

“I don’t care what other people think,” Verstappen said.
