LIV GOLF PRO FILES FOR DIVORCE AFTER NINE YEARS OF MARRIAGE

LIV golf pro Pat Perez and his wife Ashley have filed for divorce after nine years of marriage.

LIV golfer Pat Perez and his wife Ashley have filed for divorce, it has been reported. According to BroBible, a petition has been filed in Maricopa County Superior Court to end their nine-year marriage.

The couple married on New Year’s Eve 2014 and have two children. Pat was married before she met Ashley.

Ashley has been in the headlines for the past two years after her husband joined a golf league backed by Saudi Arabia. Pat was heavily criticized when he joined LIV, who previously said he would “not join the Saudi bandwagon”.

Ashley jumped to the defense and posted a video of herself getting into a huge fight. “This new tournament is going to be amazing,” he said.

He also went after Rory McIlroy after watching the Northern Ireland player take on the US national team during the 2023 Ryder Cup. “I’m sure I’m not the only one who wants to see Lori get punched in the face,” she wrote.

“I mean it in the best possible way… in the other direction.”

Ashley also called out Tiger Woods for past driving offenses as fans demanded that golfers be allowed to use golf carts during the tournament.

It’s not confirmed if it’s Pat and Ashley, but No Laying Up’s Tron Carter said he recently heard from a LIV player who returned from a trip to Las Vegas to find his house completely destroyed. Pat met Ashley in Las Vegas.

“I won’t name the player, but the guy’s wife left him,” Carter said. When I got home from a trip to Las Vegas with my kids, there were only four forks left in the house.
“[He was] one of LIV’s employees. You know, I feel really bad for him because these kids went to LIV because they wanted to spend more time with their families.”

Pat didn’t have a great season at LIV in 2023, finishing 28th in the individual standings.
It looked like he would be left out in the cold, but Dustin Johnson offered him a lifeline by offering him a new contract that would see him play with the 4 Aces through the 2024 season.
