Rest in peace: forever in our hearts » Dallas Mavericks legend died in a sewing pool…. Dallas Mavericks guard Kyrie Irving recently underwent surgery to repair a broken left hand, the organization announced Tuesday.

According to the Mavericks, Irving was injured during practice earlier this month. There is no timetable for his return or recovery.

After spending his first full season in Dallas, Irving returned. Irving gathered average 25.6 points per game of 49.7 %, 5.2 assists, and 1.3 intercepts in 58 games in the previous campaign.
