The golf champion, who shares ex-wife Elin Nordegren with Sam Alexis, 16, and Charlie Axel, 14, has previously spoken publicly about his role as a father and the importance of being there for his children.
Tiger said things ended in 2015, when both of his sons were able to compete against their father at the Masters. “This tournament is very important to me in many ways,” he told ESPN at a press conference. “We all know what happened to my father’s health in ’97. And my father was pronounced dead earlier that year. He came back and came here and I won the Masters. “It’s special to be there with all my heart and to be able to share with the kids.”

Charlie wasn’t the only one who enjoyed playing tennis with his father. In 2015, Sam and Tiger sat in Nadal’s box at the US Open at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center and watched the star meet Fabio Fognini.
