Padraig Harrington will mark his 29th year as a professional golfer despite battling pneumonia and a collapsed lung in the off-season.
Throughout his career, Harrington has competed on both the DP World Tour and the PGA Tour and has 38 professional victories, including two Open Championships and the U.S. Open. Many will forgive the Irishman for losing an inch of his competitive prowess alongside the victories he has accumulated during his career at the age of 52.

But as far as Harrington is concerned, that couldn’t be further from the truth. The Irishman is gearing up for another campaign, starting with next week’s season-opening Rolex Series DP World Tour event. Dubai Desert Classic. Two-time bowling champions Claret are still keen to get their season underway and told Mirror Sport: “They are playing a really great game. I’m 52 and can’t wait to play golf. It’s crazy, it’s me.
