Annual sales of The sportswear giant’s earnings have increased tenfold thanks to the 15-time major champion. He signed his first contract when he was only 20 years old. Woods won his first major at the Masters since 1997, becoming the youngest player to win at Augusta. His remarkable rise continued and he became the fastest golfer to reach No. 1 in the world rankings. Following his incredible achievements, ‘Tiger Mania’ spread around the world and Nike Golf benefited financially from the star’s partnership. As reported on “The Joe Pomp Show,” the golf company’s revenue grew from $30 million to $300 million in two years. In 1996, he signed a five-year, $40 million contract, and in 2001, he signed a $100 million contract that would last until 2006. Then, the American sports star further increased his much fame.
