Daniel Ricciardo has no shortage of offers to join the team and it’s no wonder there is a lot of interest in him from outside the Red Bull bubble.
The popular Australian returned to F1 midway through the 2023 season to much fanfare after ousting Nick de Vries from Red Bull-backed AlfaTauri. The 34-year-old was previously Red Bull’s reserve driver after leaving McLaren at the end of the 2022 season following a disappointing season.
Despite breaking his arm after two races, his overall form in 2023 means he will be back behind the wheel of an AlfaTauri in 2024. Perth clothing comes to Ricardo!
But now the eight-time Grand Prix winner has another team he wants to have fun with in Australia, even if it’s away from the circuit.
Perth’s Cup & Co cafe proudly showed off their ‘newest member of the team’ on Instagram, with the usually cheerful Ricardo appearing alongside him in a photo uploaded to their Instagram account on Thursday. But they didn’t want to downplay their new star and joked that his F1 skills would be beneficial in the work environment.
The post reads: “Introducing our newest team member, Daniel. Will rail speed help you drive a coffee machine?
“Ricciardo knows where to find good coffee in Perth! Cup & Co Florea.”
