The team, formerly known as AlphaTauri, announced their new name on social media Thursday night, and fans responded with enthusiasm.
On Thursday evening, the Red Bull junior team was seen changing their Instagram name to ‘VisaCashAppRB’, believed to be short for Visa Cash App (or CashApp) Racing Bulls. Alfa Romeo’s rebrand (hello, Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber!) hasn’t fared well online, but that’s nothing compared to the flurry of comments about “VCARB.”
