Man killed at Miami F1 track

A man died at the Formula 1 circuit in Miami.

Unfortunately, a fatal accident occurred at Turn 16 at Miami International Speedway.

 

It has been reported that a man has died tragically near the Hard Rock Stadium where the Miami Grand Prix ended. The Florida Highway Patrol confirmed that one person was killed after being thrown from a gray Dodge coupe at Miami International Speedway around 1:45 p.m. local time.

According to the report, the driver struck a wall on the Northwest 199th South exit ramp of the Florida Turnpike before the vehicle went through a barrier and over an overpass. The Dodge coupe overturned and broke several palm trees before crashing on an F1 circuit.

 

At corner 16, the damaged vehicle was found on its roof. However, the driver ditched the vehicle before it passed the barrier. Firefighters found him and pronounced him dead at the scene.
