With the first Grand Slam of the year almost halfway through, the women’s game is producing inconsistent results. Only three of the top 10 seeds survived the fourth round, and the No. 2, Aryna Sabalenka, remains a force for the Stars.

In 2023, four women will win four Grand Slams: Sabalenka, Iga Sviatek, Marketa Vondrousova and Coco Gauff. There is no doubt that the absence of one or two players who make the women’s game interesting makes it interesting.
