Tiger Woods’ relationship with Nike has ended. The golfer signed four contracts worth a total of $660 million, but never signed a lifetime contract.
Despite the fact that Woods signed four contracts worth a total of 500 million pounds, Nike did not make a special offer to Tiger Woods, as it did to LeBron James.
Woods has been the face of Nike since their relationship ended when the company’s last contract fell through, but Woods noted that he will never receive a lifetime contract like LeBron James or Kevin Durant. In 2015, LeBron signed a lifetime contract with Nike. This means he will always remain an athlete with Nike. Durant has a similar contract until April 2023, but Woods is now expected to sign a new sponsorship partnership. Woods played a key role in the company and signed four contracts worth more than £400m, but Nike never gave him the kind of deal that James and Durant enjoyed.
