‘There’s a lot going on’ – Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney offered hope of Aaron Collins transfer as Bristol boss offers update on Wrexham target

Bristol Rovers boss, Matt Taylor, revealed that Wrexham target, Aaron Collins, ruled himself out of his side’s game in order to push through a move.

Bristol Rovers beat Oxford 3-1 today but were without Collins as he seeks to secure his switch to the Red Dragons. The Welsh striker is keen on making the move to Wrexham and could help propel the side to League One = where he is currently playing. The Rovers boss attempted to keep speculation to a minimum.

Despite his best efforts, Taylor could not avoid the questions on Wrexham’s interest. In response to queries on Collins’ absence, he told BBC Radio Bristol: “That’s not my decision, it’s Aaron’s decision. We understand that there’s a lot going on behind the scenes in terms of what might happen over the next few days in the transfer window.

“We had that discussion with him yesterday and he didn’t feel as though he was quite in the position to be available for today.”

Collins has already played for six sides currently in League Two. Collins has had spells at Newport County, Notts County, Tranmere Rovers, Colchester United, Morecambe and Forest Green Rovers.
