Ten-time Formula 1 Grand Prix winner Gerhard Berger believes Max Verstappen is the greatest driver of all time.
Verstappen currently holds three F1 titles, the first of which he won in 2021 after a season-long battle with Lewis Hamilton. The Dutchman dominated the next two seasons and finished third on the F1 race winning list behind Hamilton and Michael Schumacher.
Verstappen currently holds several F1 records and is in contention to become one of the greatest drivers of all time. In an interview with Auto Motor und Sport, Berger looked at former legendary drivers when asked if Verstappen was among the top-rated drivers.
“I’m not biased when it comes to this question because I’ve ridden with and against Ayrton Senna – I usually put him first. “But this is where the questions start. How do you judge something like that? This can only be achieved through facts and figures. “And we have to put Michael Schumacher first. Senna was impressed by his talent and supernatural ability in the car.”
