Tom Brady’s dad slams Bill Belichick’s ‘horrible’ ego in fresh shot at Patriots

Tom Brady’s father has once again slammed Bill Belichick, saying the famous coach’s “terrible” ego has gotten in the way of his relationship with the quarterback.

Tom Brady and Bill Belichick both worked for the New England Patriots for over 20 years before the quarterback left in 2020.

Tom Brady’s father has reignited his feud with the NFL, saying coach Bill Belichick currently runs a “military system” that has nothing to do with the NFL. This comes after Brady left the New England Patriots, a team that won nine Super Bowls and six championships under Brady, Belichick and owner Rob Kraft.

However, the Patriots struggled after Brady won Super Bowl LV before leaving for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and retiring in February 2023. Belichick, who went 29-38 under Brady and missed the playoffs three times in four years, stepped down as head coach and de facto general manager after the 2023 season.

Despite that, Brady Sr. believes Belichick is still the best coach in football, but suggests the league has moved on from the 71-year-old coach. Beginning with the 2024 NFL season, Belichick will no longer be a head coach or have a coaching role for the first time since 1975.

“Bill is a tough guy.” Brady Sr. said to the Boston Globe. “He controls the military system. It’s a different generation. Bill is a great, great, great coach. But his relationships with people are terrible. This is the starting point.

“How many times has he said he wants to win without Tommy in ’15 or ’16? She didn’t know what she was missing without Tommy. You lose a lot to your quarterback. “Ego gets in the way sometimes. I think Bill did the same. Now he’s in a situation where everyone has been crucifying him for the last few years and his roses are shining even brighter.”

No coach in the NFL is as demanding as Belichick, known for his defensive prowess and tough approach. He and Brady formed the most successful quarterback coaching team in history, but Belichick was concerned about Brady’s age and they parted ways. Kraft chose to coach Brady, but saw Brady win another Super Bowl with the Bucks. When Brady returned to congratulate Kraft, he admitted he was wrong. “He just said, ‘I made a mistake.’ Mr. Brady for him. “He told us about it last September. Not all of us make good decisions, but he’s made a lot of good decisions over the years. But I know he was upset that Tommy went elsewhere and won. It’s not that he won, it’s that he won after Bill said it was over.

Tom Brady is best known for winning five Super Bowls, being named Super Bowl MVP five times, and retiring with the most passing yards (89,214), touchdown passes (649) and wins in a season regularly (251). The 46-year-old is considered by many to be the greatest defender of all time.
