Tiger Woods makes his golf debut at the 2024 Genesis Invitational
Tiger Woods will make his PGA Tour debut at the 2024 Genesis Invitational, he announced on social media Wednesday.
“Excited to host next week,” Woods wrote on Instagram and X. This tournament, hosted by Woods, will be held at Pacific Palisades Riviera Country Club from February 15-18. California, near Los Angeles. He finished 45th at the 2023 tournament. Woods, 48, has not played on the PGA Tour since the Hero World Challenge in December 2023. Last season, he competed in two additional events: the Genesis Invitational in February and the Masters in April. Woods withdrew from the 2023 Masters Tournament due to worsening plantar fasciitis. Two weeks later he had surgery on his right ankle. The 15-time champion’s Genesis debut will be his first since his 27-year partnership with Nike ended in January.
