Korn Ferry Tour golfer shoots 57, sets record for PGA Tour-sanctioned event
Chilean golfer Cristobal Del Solar shot 57 at a Korn Ferry Tour event in Colombia on Thursday, his lowest round in a PGA Tour-sanctioned tournament.
Del Solar recorded nine birdies, two eagles and zero bogeys on Country Club de Bogota’s Pacos course, the shortest course on the Korn Ferry Tour and located at 10,000 feet above sea level. The 30-year-old, who is ranked 259th in the Official World Golf Ranking, hit a birdie from 10 feet on the final hole but missed it and ended his round at three in a row at the Astara bay. As of Thursday afternoon, he leads the tournament with 13 points on five shots.
