Gasly feels “in a much better place” as he enters his second season with the Alps.
Pierre Gasly will be hoping for a better start to his second season in the Alps after his success last year.
“I know everyone in this room and I know everyone in the building behind it,” Gasly told media, including RaceFans, at the unveiling of the team’s new F1 car this week. Gasly said he was now in a “much better place” after a year of speed in the Alps. “I know all that. I don’t have to worry about that and focus on myself as an athlete, as a driver and really focus on the physical side of things and work with the guys and try to figure this long season out. “I feel in good shape and in a good position for the team.”
Gasly finished on the podium at last year’s Dutch Grand Prix, beating teammate Esteban Ocon by four points.
