Bernie Ecclestone spoke to Christian Horner on the phone as he investigated the actions of the Red Bull boss.

Christian Horner has been advised by Bernie Ecclestone as the Red Bull CEO’s actions are investigated, according to reports. Horner responded to allegations of misconduct with a private attorney on Friday.

Despite Friday’s hearing, the investigation into the 50-year-old’s actions is still ongoing. It is unclear whether Horner will remain in Formula 1 after the reported eight-hour session ended in a draw.

Details of the complaint are unclear, but Horner denied the allegations against De Telegraaf. Red Bull has not confirmed the BBC report that it engaged in “inappropriate and controlling behaviour”.

The research has sparked interest beyond Red Bull’s headquarters in Milton Keynes. Ecclestone, the former Formula 1 CEO, is understood to have spoken to Horner. According to Motorsport-Total, the 93-year-old, who is a close friend of the Red Bull team management, has spoken to Horner several times and is involved in an advisory role. The same was true of F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali. Horner was seen pulling up next to a black car. To minimize media attention, the hearing was moved from the F1 team’s headquarters to London. Red Bull said it would not comment until all investigations had been completed. So it remains to be seen whether Horner will lead the team until the 2024 Formula 1 season. The group is set to unveil the RB20 on Thursday, but there are still doubts that Horner will lead the presentation. The new car is believed to be an improvement on the successful RB19 with which Max Verstappen won the World Championship. Red Bull said it takes complaints “very seriously” and understands people are looking for a quick fix. However, it is not known if the investigation will continue next season. Practice and qualifying sessions will take place just before the Bahrain Grand Prix, which kicks off the 2024 season on March 2. There will be three sessions if Red Bull decide not to continue their investigation into the season. Completion time weeks. Horner has been at the heart of Red Bull’s success since taking charge of the team in its first Formula 1 season in 2005. Red Bull has led the last two constructors’ championships and Verstappen has won the last three drivers’ championships.
