Tiger Woods’ son Charlie Woods takes first step towards serious golf career on PGA Tour

Tiger Woods’ son Charlie Woods is taking his first steps toward a serious golf career on the PGA Tour.

 

 

 

Charlie Woods will participate in pre-qualifying for the PGA Tour Cignant Classic on Thursday.

Charlie Woods, who plays at Lost Lake Golf Club in Florida, will need to finish within the top 25 to qualify Monday, where four players will qualify for the Coulant Classic.

 

The event will be held in Woods’ hometown of South Florida and will begin live on talkSPORT 2 on February 29th. The younger Woods has competed alongside his father four times at the PNC Championship, an unofficial PGA Tour event, and always impresses with his skills beyond his years.

However, this is the first sign that Charlie Woods intends to pursue a serious golf career. He had already raised waves in the world of juniors, participating in the national golf championship of Notuh Begay III in November of last year and ending with T17.
