Injury wasn’t the reason Tiger Woods decided to retire.

Every tournament that Tiger Woods participates in is for him to win. If the 47-year-old football legend admits that he is incapable of competing for championships, he will decide to retire.

Tiger Woods expressed his love for competition, saying he will continue to compete until the day winning becomes impossible. He made the announcement during the 2023 Hero World Challenge after taking an eight-month hiatus from golf due to injury, and also said that retirement is inevitable when the time comes.

The former world number one highlighted her goal of competing for the championship at Albany Stadium, saying: “Of course I will be entering the Hero World Challenge 2023 with that goal in mind.”

The 2023 Hero World She Challenge line-up generated considerable interest, not because of the 19 outstanding golfers, but because there was a conspicuous absence at one venue. Tiger Woods confirmed his return to the Albany Course in the Bahamas nearly two weeks after announcing the tournament, causing a sensation among golf fans around the world.

Tiger Woods has suffered numerous injuries throughout his career. Despite appearing in 15 major tournaments, he had never played golf since the Masters.
