Luke Littler: Unsurprising rule that star is exempt from for World Championship final

Luke Littler: Not a shocking rule for a star sent to a World Cup final

Later this month, under-17 Luke Littler became the youngest darts player to reach the PDC World Championship final after a stellar performance at Ally Pally.

Luke Littler will compete in the PDC World Championship final despite being too young to take part in the event unaccompanied.
Littler, 16, will compete for darts’ biggest prize at Alexandra Palace on Wednesday night after a surprise run to the final. Standing in the way of the teenage sensation is new world No. 1 Luke Humphreys, who has 18 tournament wins.
Littler overcame the odds and made it to the finals, but she is too young to compete alone. According to Professional Darts Corporation rules, all Ally Pally participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

If Littler wins the PDC World Darts Championship, he will receive a life-changing payday.

We ask that all parents/guardians are aware of the nature of the event before bringing their children and we ask that all under 18s are accompanied by at least one family adult or support provider.
