Eddie Hearn has criticized Francis Ngannou by suggesting that his disappointing loss to Anthony Joshua was due to him arriving at the arena early. Joshua scored a dominant victory in Saudi Arabia, knocking out the former UFC heavyweight champion three times in two rounds.

Ngannou said in a recent interview with The MMA Hour that he arrived at Riyadh’s Kingdom Arena two hours earlier than Joshua, apparently suggesting it was a “trick” to tire him out. Promoter Joshua Hearn disagreed with the comments, saying the 37-year-old “should have known better”.
