Mason Rudolph will be the Steelers’ starting quarterback

Mason Rudolph will be the Steelers’ starting quarterback next Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks, the team announced. This will be Rudolph’s second start. Rudolph had an impressive performance against the Cincinnati Bengals, throwing for 290 yards and two touchdowns in the Steelers’ 34-11 victory. The team thought Rudolph was the starter this week, but left the possibility open as they continue to monitor how he looks in practice while Kenny Pickett continues to recover from foot surgery. The offense looked its best since Ben Roethlisberger in Week 16 and scored its most points since 2021, when the Steelers scored 37 points against the Los Angeles Chargers. They will need more bursts against the Seahawks in the NFC playoff race. Don’t get married!
