Rory McIlroy would consider playing LIV if it turns into ‘IPL of golf’

Rory McIlroy said he would consider playing LIV Golf if it was modeled after cricket’s Indian Premier League (IPL) and ran for two months. The 34-year-old Northern Irishman has been an outspoken opponent of Saudi-funded LIV Golf, once saying he would rather retire than play “if this was the last place on earth to play golf” .
But he recently narrowed it down to his friend, the Ryder Cup star and former LIV critic.
