Tom Brady gives an update on when he will start his £300m TV role as an NFL analyst.
Tom Brady signed a 10-year, $375 million contract with FOX Sports last year, but there have been few updates on the start of his role until now.
Seven-time Super Bowl champion and future NFL Hall of Famer Tom Brady shared news about his TV role with FOX Sports. The 46-year-old signed a 10-year, $375 million deal with Fox last year. He has now confirmed that he will start a new job as an NFL analyst in September. The addition of Brady means former NFL star Greg Olsen could be replaced as the network’s No. 1 analyst. Brady is already preparing for this exciting opportunity. “I’ve got a big broadcasting job starting in September,” Brady said on Let’s Go! Podcast from SiriusXM. “I have already worked hard to prepare for this opportunity and I am mentally and emotionally ready for this challenge because this is a test. “It’s something new. It was out of my comfort zone. And I can’t wait to go out and try something and see if I like it. “But it has to be about my training and work ethic. And I hope a lot of the things I’ve done in my career have prepared me for that. One of the interesting things about me is that in the morning, when I get out of bed, I’m ready to go.
“And I want to make a to-do list. Well, that’s what I’m doing today, I want to fulfill my potential in this area of my life.”
Brady, who retired from the NFL for the second time after the 2022 season, is facing persistent rumors of another comeback. Several teams were looking for a veteran quarterback to lead their offense in 2023. But Brady has repeatedly confirmed his decision to retire following his split from long-time partner Gisele Bündchen, saying he wants to spend more time with his family and pursue opportunities outside of football, including a deal with Fox.
