Collin Morikawa has become the latest star to speak out in the PGA Tour’s long-running framework agreement talks, and the former Open champion appears to be running out of patience.
Colin Morikawa has admitted he refused to read PGA text contracts and updates as his golf driving scandal neared its end.
The PGA Tour recently canceled a deal on Dec. 31 after announcing plans to partner with Saudi Arabia’s State Investment Fund and LIV in June. Hours before its year-end goal, the tournament informed players that negotiations were ongoing, although a deal had not yet been finalized.
The US plan and the story surrounding the LIV unit seem to have made Morikawa impatient, and the Americans want to end the overt policy. While many players face this problem on a regular basis, Morikawa wants them to focus on golf again.
“Hopefully everything will come together and we can play together one day, but there’s too much back and forth, too many emails we get, too much everything.
