Detroit Lions wrapped up regular season with a win after beating Vikings

The Detroit Lions finished the regular season with a win over the Vikings.

Sam LaPorta caught a 2-yard touchdown pass midway through the first quarter, but later left the field with a knee injury. It was a nightmare for the NFC North champion Detroit Lions as they closed out the regular season with a 30-20 win over Minnesota. The Vikings are on Sunday.
Detroit (12-5) has a franchise winning record and is making its first playoff appearance since the 1993 season when they played in the Pontiac Silverdome.
