Charles Omenihu wants as many spectators as possible for the upcoming Wild Cards Kansas City Chiefs game.

As the Kansas City Chiefs prepare for their wild-card game against the Miami Dolphins on Jan. 13, Chiefs defensive end Charles Omenihu is eager for a high-stakes game. Of course, that starts with audience numbers. But Omenihu plans to allow Kansas City fans to attend games outside of Arrowhead Stadium.

From the post “Okay chiefs, I’ve seen the reaction and I want you all to see us play,” Omenihu said. “That’s why I’m giving away 90 3-month Peacock memberships!” Reply to this tweet with why you should enter and win. (I’ll pick) Friday’s winner!

Omenihu initially expressed concern that future boss games would be exclusive operations. With fans having to pay a subscription fee, Omenihu joined the ongoing uproar from Chiefs (and Dolphins) fans as to why the wild card road trip was chosen for the streaming service. Still, Omenihu wanted to do his duty and offer some help to the chieftain.

The number of viewers you can generate with 90 accounts can already be significant. Given the popularity of watch parties today, one account allows many people to watch sporting events from their homes or public places.

Moreover, responding to supporters with such gestures gives greater support to the team. After all, players who let their fans know they care will always perform better in the long run.

Whether the Chiefs get past the Dolphins or not, Charles Omenihu will be remembered by fans for more than tackles and sacks.
