The Minnesota Vikings announced they signed another player to futures and returned one in return in Myles Gaskin. The Vikings placed Gaskin on the active roster at the start of the season and kept him off the practice squad several times this offseason, making him the third tight end on the roster. Between his two stints with the Vikings, he spent time with the Los Angeles Rams. Having Gaskin back on his futures contract is a good thing for the Vikings, who signed him back. He doesn’t offer much upside at the position, but he has a solid starting position and is an experienced voice in Ty Chandler and DeWayne McBride’s development rooms. Adding Gaskin to the futures contract would mean 11 Vikings players would sign that contract.
