REPORT: TIGER WOODS SET TO UNVEIL NEXT APPAREL PARTNERSHIP AFTER LEAVING NIKE

After leaving Nike, Tiger Woods announced that TaylorMade will have its own clothing line.

Tiger Woods will soon announce a new apparel partnership with TaylorMade after ending his partnership with Nike. The 48-year-old announced on January 9 that he was parting ways with the sportswear mogul after 27 years, confirming the worst-kept secret in men’s professional golf.

The 15-time champion uses the brand’s products and wears the Swoosh since 1996. However, the two agreed to divorce.
The split is not believed to have been acrimonious, although Woods’ decision to wear FootJoy golf shoes during matches upset some officials after he was seriously injured in a car accident in 2021. Woods has received at least $500 million from Nike over the years.

While it looks like an announcement could be coming soon, Woods’ new clothing partner could be revealed next month when he begins his first year in 2024 in Los Angeles. In an emotional farewell to Nike, Woods announced he will play in the PGA Tour’s Genesis Invitational.

Woods wrote: “27 years ago I was lucky enough to work with one of the most iconic brands in the world. “The next few days will be filled with so many amazing moments and memories that if I could name them, they could go on forever.

“Phil Knight’s passion and vision brought together the partnership between Nike and Nike Golf, and I would like to personally thank him, the Nike staff and the incredible athletes I have had the pleasure of working with. “They ask if there will be another chapter. Yes, there will definitely be another chapter.”

In response to Woods’ comments, Nike said: “Tiger, you challenged the competition, the stereotypes, the conventions and the old ways of thinking. “You’ve turned the entire golf world against you. You turned your back on us. Especially you. Thank you for this challenge.”
