Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods recently joined. Two PGA Tour stars didn’t like LIV Golf and proposed business for a new professional golf league. According to McIlroy, their relationship has grown stronger in recent months. McIlroy joins Golf Weekly’s Off The Ball podcast to discuss a variety of gardening topics. The friendship between a star golfer and an icon was one of those topics. McIlroy told Woods a secret he had never told anyone.
“He’s showing me things I can’t show anybody but Charlie,” McIlroy said on the podcast. Charlie Woods, son of Charlie Tiger, is an aspiring golfer.
It’s clear that McIlroy and Woods form a very strong bond when Tiger shares such secrets with him. However, this is clearly evident in the recent actions of Rory and Woods. The two recently announced their partnership for a new golf league called TGL. The league recently gained attention with the emergence of NBA champion Giannis Antetokounmpo.
