If Sergio Perez leaves soon, Red Bull’s Daniel Ricciardo will be at the top of the wish list.

Perez’s position has been under scrutiny for some time and I believe the team will take decisive action if his poor form returns in 2024. This gives one the opportunity to ride with three-time world champion Max Verstappen. According to F1 journalist Lawrence Barretto, Ricciardo would be the favorite to do so.

In an article on the official F1 website, Barretto noted that some may question whether the Australian, who spent five seasons with the team between 2014 and 2018, will be able to recapture his best form in next season. “Riccardo is therefore at the top of the list of suitable candidates to replace our management team,” he wrote.
