Sam, 14, gave an introduction speech at her father’s World Golf Hall of Fame induction event in Florida on Wednesday, recalling the terrifying moments she and her family members suffered while waiting for Tiger to be released from the hospital after being involved in a vehicle accident last year.

His adolescent daughter called the tragedy one of her father’s “ultimate lows.”

“We didn’t know if you’d come home with two legs or not,” he said. “Not only are you about to be inducted into the Hall of Fame, but you’re also standing on your own two feet.” This is why you have earned it.”Sam went on to say, “You’re a fighter, you’ve defied the odds every time.”

Woods was hospitalized in February 2021 after an automobile accident. The five-time Masters champion suffered severe orthopedic injuries to his right leg, including tibia and fibula fractures. Woods’ automobile struck a sign in the center divider and cut through a tree before landing on the side of the road during the accident, which occurred on the border of Rolling Hills Estates and Rancho Palos Verdes in Southern California. In April of last year, Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva stated that speed was the principal cause of Woods’ crash. The sheriff also stated that there were “no signs of impairment,” and that Woods will not face any charges as a result of the collision.

He talked up about the procedures he had to have to recover from the crash last November.

“Those operations were one thing, that’s one level,” explained Woods. “Then there’s the back, which adds another level.” And then there was this right leg, which was… it’s tough to describe how difficult it has been to be immobile for three months, just lay there, and I was just looking forward to getting outside.”

Nonetheless, Woods admitted, “I’m lucky to be alive and also have a limb.”

The great golfer confirmed last month that he is still recovering from the incident and would not be returning to the PGA Tour anytime soon.

“I wish I could tell you when I’m going to be playing again,” Woods stated at a press conference held the day before the Genesis Invitational and covered by Golf.com.

“I want to know, but I don’t,” he said. “My golf participation has been extremely limited.” I can chip and putt good and hit short irons well, but I haven’t done any significant long stuff. I’m still at work. I’m still working on the walking portion, as I was at the PNC.”

Sam is shared by Woods and his ex-wife Elin Nordegren. Woods spoke out about having a daughter in July of last year.

“I’ve got this thing about… “I feel like every dude should have a daughter,” Woods told Red Table Talk presenter Jada Pinkett Smith, who has two children with husband Will Smith: Willow Smith and Jaden Smith.

When asked what his daughter had taught him, Woods joked, “What has my daughter taught me?” “I dislike boys.”

Sam, he subsequently replied, “has taught me how to be more patient.”

“Daddy’s little girl,” the athlete continued. “I love
