Woods is younger though. Earning bragging rights, Tiger was unable to compete in the state championships in high school because the California Interscholastic Federation did not hold state competitions at that time. Not surprisingly, Charlie’s rise in the golf world has been well documented.

The youngster has competed alongside his father in recent years at the PNC Parent-Child Championship at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club, the 2021 event in which the Woods duo finished second behind John Daly and John Daly Jr. He scored the most good results in 2018. Due to past fitness issues, it remains to be seen whether Tiger and Charlie will be able to compete this year.

Tiger’s last match was at the Masters in April this year, but his week was cut short in the third round when he had to withdraw with an ankle injury. Six months later, Woods issued a fitness update saying he was still not fully recovered, despite his ankle problem being resolved last week.
