Argentina Pilar Golf 2025 invites enthusiasts from Latin America
Latin American Amateur will return to Pilar Golf in Argentina in 2025 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the event created to promote amateur golf in South America, Central America, Mexico and the Caribbean.
The event is scheduled to take place in January. 16-19, 2025
Pilar Golf hosted the first LAAC in 2015, founded by the Masters Tour, the R&A and the USGA. Winners of the event receive invitations to participate in the Masters, the US Open and the Annual Open.
R&A CEO Martin Slumbers said: “We have watched the stars of the future and the best amateur golfers in Latin America compete at the highest level at these championships.” “The next few years will go from strength to strength and we can look forward to another great show of golf in Argentina next year.”
The opening field at Pilar Golf Course includes Joaquin Niemann, Nico Echavarria, Sebastián Munoz and Mito Pereira, all of whom have won or are famous on the PGA Tour.
