John Fury Gives His Verdict On Joshua-Ngannou
John Fury made a statement about Joshua-Ngannou.
John Fury is known for his relatively open views on boxing and has now weighed in on the upcoming fight between Anthony Joshua and Francis Ngannou.
“Big John” spoke candidly about his son Tyson’s amazing performance against Ngannou in October, urging him to switch styles with his trainer and admitting that his son may be on the decline. In an interview with Boxing Social after the result, he was asked about his thoughts on the upcoming fight and warned Joshua that of course there is no rematch clause.
“To be honest, we can’t ignore Ngannou. He proved it against Tyson. He is a strong kid, he has strength, he has a good physique. If he wants to win, he has the desire and effort, he has proven to be a problem for everyone in the world.
He then admitted he was looking forward to the fight and expressed his belief that Joshua could be in trouble if Ngannou lands.
“It’s an amazing sight, and I know one thing: If Ngannou tags AJ, he’s not going to recover quickly. That guy doesn’t hold up well to being caught in the act and taken to AJ, does he? Ngannou is a different man than big man Andy Ruiz, 6f
