The heavy ones are months ahead of them. Anthony Joshua and Francis Ngannou clash in less than two months and if anyone knows how much of a threat Ngannou can be, it’s John Fury.
After watching his son Tyson lose to the former UFC superstar, the elder Fury is in no rush to rule out his opportunity against Ngannou Joshua. Ngannou is scheduled to fight his second pro fight in Saudi Arabia on March 8 and is once again a major upset.
Fury Sr., who will watch his son Alexander fight Usyk next month, was considering another heavyweight fight. “I’m telling you the truth, you can’t ignore Ngannou. He proved it against Tyson,” Fury Sr. told Boxing Social.
“He’s a strong kid, he’s got power, he’s got a strong physique, he’s proven that if he’s going to win, if he comes with desire and effort, he’s a problem for everybody.
