Leeds in pole position to sign Championship star after hijacking Southampton
Leeds United are close to signing Manuel Benson from Burnley as they compete with title rivals Southampton for the winger’s signature.
Daniel Farke’s men secured a big win against Preston North End on Sunday, coming from behind to secure a 2-1 victory. The visitors took the lead after just two minutes at Elland Road, Will Keane curling a shot into the back of the net from five yards.
However, Daniel James equalized four minutes later with a header from a beautiful cross at the back post. The home team then scored the winner from 12 meters with Joel Piro.
