PGA TOUR STARS LINKED WITH LIV GOLF MOVES IN PEBBLE BEACH FIELD

Tyrrell Hatton and Wyndham Clark remain in the field for the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am on the PGA Tour despite being linked with a move to LIV Golf.

Reported LIV Golf targets Tyrrell Hatton and reigning U.S. Open champion Wyndham Clark have both been listed in the field for the forthcoming AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

Hatton, 32, is said to have been in advanced discussions with the rival league over the last few weeks.

The Englishman all-but confirmed talks have been held with his camp over a switch at the Dubai Desert Classic.

“As of right now, yeah,” Hatton told reporters when he was asked if he was happy plying his trade on the PGA Tour and DP World Tour.

The Independent have recently reported he has agreed to join LIV subject to ripping up his contract with Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods’ indoor golf league TGL.

It is expected Hatton would join Jon Rahm’s LIV side for the 2024 season.

The aforementioned Clark was also strongly-linked with a move to LIV after the 2023 Ryder Cup.

But it has been suggested talks stalled when it seemed like he was ‘the next to go’.

Kaymer, a former World No. 1, claimed his side were targeting ‘another European’ before LIV kick off their third campaign in Mayakoba.

The 2024 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am will be an event unlike any other.

It has been given ‘signature’ status by the PGA Tour.

This year amateurs will play just two rounds with the professionals instead of three.

The tournament is also only limited to a field of 80 players, have no-cut and a purse of $20m.
