Tiger Woods’ trial postponed in Florida antitrust suit
Tiger Woods walks into a South Florida law office ahead of a deposition scheduled for Tuesday. But the 15-time winner’s sworn interview was stopped by a judge before it could begin. This is the latest twist in an antitrust lawsuit filed in Palm Beach County District Court by conservative activist attorney Larry Klyman.
“Counsel for Tiger Woods and the PGA Tour—at the last minute, as Woods’s deposition was to begin—objected to proceeding,” Klayman tells Front Office Sports. Judge Luis Delgado delayed the Woods deposition in an emergency hearing Tuesday morning, according to Klayman. (Lawyer Woods did not immediately respond.
