Who Is Davante Adams’ Wife? All About Devanne Villarreal

Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams has been married to his college sweetheart Devanna Villarreal since 2018.

Davante Adams’ romance with wife Devanna Villarreal began before he became a top player in the NFL.

The two met while students at Fresno State University in 2012, two years before Adams was drafted by the Green Bay Packers and joined the league. The two married in 2018 and had two children, Daeja Lee and Desi Lin.

In 2022, the wide receiver was traded to the Las Vegas Raiders, and the family of four now lives in Nevada. Despite Adams’ success on the field, Villarreal told Bleacher Report in 2018, “He doesn’t act like a celebrity. It’s the same Davante.”

She also told The Ringer in 2021 that her husband has a “powerful, intimidating presence” but that “there’s more to him once you get to know him.”

In January 2024, Adams took to Instagram to give his “beautiful wife” a special birthday present. “I love you to death,” he captioned a photo and video of Villarreal.

Villarreal and Adams, both California natives, first met in 2012 when they were students at Fresno State University. Adams played for the Fresno State Bulldogs from 2011 to 2013 and was drafted into the NFL in 2014. She married Adams in 2018.

Adams proposed in Villarreal, Bahamas in 2017. Villarreal posted a series of photos of Adams’ proposal on Instagram, saying that her then-fiancé made “the most perfect, creative, touching and emotional proposal” under the guise of a photo shoot . They got married in 2018 in Pebble Beach, Monterey County, California. The bride wore a Vera Wang gown and shared photos and videos of the day on Instagram. According to USA Today, the couple went to the Greek island of Santorini for their honeymoon.

June 2023 marked the fifth anniversary of Adams and Villarreal. “5 down… Happy birthday to my beautiful wife,” the professional footballer wrote on his Instagram page.

She and Adams have two children.

Villarreal and Adams have two daughters. Daiza was born in September 2019 and Desi Lin was born in April 2022. In an interview with ESPN, Villarreal described her husband as “the best father to my daughter”.

He frequently shares photos of his daughters on social media and announced the birth of Desi Lynn with photos of his two daughters. Villarreal posted a photo of her daughter wearing a crown on Instagram for Daiza Li’s second birthday in 2021, thanking her for “the best two years of my life.”

They also have a furry family member, a pit bull named Lewis.

In January 2023, Adams paid tribute to his wife on Instagram on their 30th birthday. He called her “the best mom ever” and said she was “wonderful in every way.”

She and Adams live in Las Vegas.

 

According to ESPN, Villarreal grew up in California and continued to live in the state after college, while Adams stayed in Wisconsin during his time with the Green Bay Packers and flew to California when he could. “I had to go back to California every weekend for OTAs (organized team activities). I flew there and back every weekend on a commercial flight. “I flew four times a week to see my family.” said the receiver. “I wanted to play OTAs and be with the team, but I didn’t want to leave my wife and kids. This is a huge deal for me. “I’m a family man and it was a very unnecessary trip,” he said.

The couple then moved closer to their hometown and moved to Las Vegas in 2022 when Adams was traded to the Las Vegas Raiders. He often posts family photos on social media.

 

Villarreal and Adams are active on social media and regularly post photos of each other and their families celebrating milestones and anniversaries. On Father’s Day 2022, Villarreal posted several photos of Adams with her daughter on Instagram, describing her husband as “the best girl daddy around.”

Meanwhile, to celebrate their fourth wedding anniversary, Adams shared a memorable wedding photo with the caption: “Happy 4th year beautiful ❤️.”

Adams has been playing in the NFL since 2014, and Villarreal has been quick to support her husband throughout his career. In October 2022, he took his daughters to watch Adams and the Las Vegas Raiders beat the Denver Broncos.

Both daughters wore bright sweaters with “Daddy” and Adams’ numbers on them, and Villarreal shared a photo of himself holding them on social media with the caption, “Have fun🏇.”

In 2017, Feng became the only Chinese golfer to date to reach the world No 1 ranking.  During a supremely consistent career, Feng registered 18 top-10 finishes in majors, two of them in 2021 even as she was winding down her playing commitments.
