The 24-year-old Swede had to settle for second place after 54 holes at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, but Aberg did exactly what Tiger Woods did before him. He was only the second player. Prior to his 19th professional appearance, he was ranked 11th in the Official World Golf Ranking.
Thanks to research by OWGR expert Nosferatu, we know Woods accomplished this feat after 17 professional starts. That’s a better start than Aberg, who turned pro last season and won the DP World Tour once and for all. Last fall’s competition. RSM is classic.
